Tjolöholm

Today did some of us vist the Tjolöholm castle. Me Fredrik and Martin drove up early this morning. Then Joakim also show up with his bus.

I'm in leading position and Fredrik with his red -65 behind.

After a long day was it now time to pack all the stuff and head back home.

Me and Joakims very nice bus. This bus normaly has a Porsche engine in the back.

Now are we on the way back home.

Another year at Tjolöholm. This year was meant to be at Airmeet in Karlshamn but due to my surgery did it not go that way but next year may be.

Thursday meeting

Yesterday was it the second Thursday meeting in Tvååker. Compare to last time was the weather nice and warm. We did meet up at the fortress in Varberg.

Linus show up for the first time this season. He have got some red colour on the rims this year. It was really nice.

Johan "junior" Qvarnström with his blue -63 and senoir with his bus. We also was one new guy from Falkenberg with one very nice -63 with roof hatch.

Linus once again. After this did we drive and meet up with Emil and his cool Typ2 pick up.

In Tvååker did also my dad meet up with his VW thet he bought from Börje.

After the meeting was it time for some burger and hot dog at "Körv mé brö. Translated to Hot dog with bread.

This place is an old hot dog and burger place outside Varberg.

Meetings summer 2010

Nytt år och nya träffar och möten. Skriv in i tråden olika träffar eller intressanta evenemang. Det behöver inte bara vara strikt VW relaterart, så lägger jag in det i listan.

Wide 5 spring meeting

Yesterday did we have the first Wide 5 meeting for this year. It's still early for the season so I was impressed that we where 7 VW. Some guys was missing and some new guys show up for the first time. Micke got long distanse price. He drove 100km singe way to participate in 2 hour VW talk. That is what i call dedication :)


We say hello to Martin, Linus and Thune that is new in Wide 5.

We desided at the meeting:

• we will have the Wide five metting in connection with the Thursday meeting in Tvååker. We will start at the 6th of May.
  
• that we will make some new t-shirts and shirts. If you not was at the meeting and want a t-shirt or shirt send me a e-mail.


• That we will be as many as possible at Wheels and Wings and have a big garden party at Fredriks place :)


• We will also this year visit the Summer meet in Danmark the 9-11 of July. We will try to book the ticket to the ferry in the begining of May to get a low cost.


• Some of us will try to drive up to classic car week in Rättvik.


• We will deside more what meeings we are going to participate at.
