Wings & Wheels in Varberg is one of the biggest car meetings in Europe. This year was just amazing how many cars there can be in my little town. The cruzing in the evening was one of the best I ever bin drivig.
Here are some pictures from the meeting and from the first WIDE FIVE barbeque party at Fredriks place.

Old news "The last trip"

Some pictures when Fredriks -57 left Sweden for Finland and a new owner.

Now is it ready for the trip to Stockholm.

Soon will it disappear.

There it goes away to Finland with it's new owner. Take good care of it.

MIB II in Denmark day 2

After the first day was it now time for day II.
I had the honour to judge the show and shine cars togeather with one guy from Norway and one from Denmark. We had a hard time to choose the five best in show cars. In my opininon was P-I from WIDE FIVE Sweden the most outstanding car. Not the best paint and finnish but it has that little extra to be a show winner. With all it's rar parts on the right place is it a show winner.

The scond best car is Michael Berg's outstanding Cal-Looker. I can't put the finger on why it's so nice. It's just so complete as a car and show winner. It has all the right things in the right place, without any bad areas. If we had bin judge after the 100 point system is this the winner, it's just a perfect car.
After this 2 cars was the rest of the winner at the same limit. There was one more winner but that do you has to figure out by your self ;)

This is how it looks like when guys from Borås drink some beers with guys from the gold coast and the city where the sun always shine.
The show and shine did not start until 13:00 so we decided to drive to the beach and take a swim. I refuse to swim if it's below 20c in the water but P-I and Niklas went in. P-I, my own and Niklas car lined up at the beach.
Joanna is looking at Zebbe if he is tough enough to swim. I can tell you that he was not so tough that he said he should be.
What in h..l is Mitch Bucannon doing in Denmark?
After some swimming was it pitstop at The Bull for a beer. P-I and Emma is relaxing in the sun.
Now was it time for the show and shine. First must I say that the standard on the cars over in Denmark is very high and it's really fun to participate in this meeting. We have mybe one VW meeting in Sweden that I can compare it with and it's Värnermeeting #13 that is coming up next weekend. That is a very nice meeting to.
The guys from MIB has some really nice cars with very high standard. I could easy chose 3-5 outstanding cars just from them.
Some happy Swedish guys are waiting for the result of the show and shine. Here do we have the show winners of MIB II.
The long distanse prize did Niklas Rydh and his family won.
P-I get the prize for one of the most outstanding cars at the show.
P-I is driving down from the stage a little happy would i guess.
Michels very nice Cal-Looker.
One more outstanding car.
Very nice Type 3.
I hope this "gasser" comes to SCC and show that it not just a good looking car.
After the show and shine did we all from WIDE FIVE went into Michaels Samba and tock a cruize through Oster Hurup. For the second time did we end up at the Pub The Bull.
Tomas and Björn enjoy a cold beer.
